With the approaching UK release of Halo 2 and the international release of Crysis, there's never been a better time to look at the PC as a viable platform for playing games.
Thanks to DirectX 10 and Games for Windows, the personal computer can match the performance of any videogame console, and in most cases it does it so much better.
To celebrate PC gaming, this week we'll be devoting a lot of time to it, recommending the best graphics cards and gaming peripherals, testing out the latest games and even letting you know a few secrets so you can play better.
We'll even be interviewing some major players in the industry, including professional gamer Fata1ty, who'll be sharing his experiences on the gaming circuit.
